Spotlight on Local Businesses
- Innkeeper’s Fresh Roasted Coffee: Celebrating a significant milestone, Innkeeper’s Fresh Roasted Coffee is ringing in their 25th anniversary this year. Owner Jessica Ketchum is brimming with pride, having served the community at their current location for two decades. As autumn leaves fall this November, be sure to pop by their newly renovated store for some exciting anniversary announcements and, of course, a cup of their signature brew.
- Orange Cup Side Hustle: Scott and Melanie Baldman's passion project, Orange Cup Side Hustle, is making waves in the local coffee scene. With the recent opening of their third location on Grand Ave, they continue to expand and evolve. Each of their spots offers a unique experience. More than just coffee hubs, these locations are a testament to Scott and Melanie's commitment to spreading kindness and love throughout the community.

Getting to Know Galesburg
Pam, who grew up frequently visiting the city, agrees when Blake beautifully describes Galesburg as that "happy in-between." It's a small town where you can warmly wave at someone on Main St. yet it’s big enough that you can find everything you might need.
The balance of a close-knit community and the convenience of a city makes Galesburg truly special.
The Chamber's Role in Galesburg
Since joining the Chamber in December 2019, Pam has witnessed its evolution, especially during challenging times like the pandemic. The Chamber swiftly became a lifeline for businesses, helping them navigate financial hurdles.
Today, with almost 400 members, the Chamber of Commerce continues to support businesses, fostering connections and ensuring their growth in the community.
A Glimpse into Pam's Journey
Having worked in Galesburg for 16 years, Pam's connection with local businesses is profound. Her career spanned roles in newspaper marketing, radio marketing consultancy, and medical marketing.
But, the allure of Galesburg always drew her back. Joining the Chamber of Commerce was a culmination of her experiences, and she considers it her dream job.
Cruising in the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander
As Blake and Pam chatted, they couldn't help but marvel at the Grand Highlander's features. Ventilated seats that blow cold air onto your back, a heated windshield, mirrors, seats, and steering wheel – it's truly packed with everything!
Galesburg's Future
Pam is optimistic about Galesburg's trajectory. With booming businesses, increased tourism, and infrastructural growth like the new library, she believes the town is on its way to expanding significantly. The entrepreneurial spirit of Galesburg's residents, combined with their resilience, especially during trying times like the pandemic, makes this community truly extraordinary.
To sum it up, our drive around Galesburg was not just enlightening but also a testament to the town's spirit and the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander's prowess.
